For Gmail:

If you have your own domain email such as "xxx@yourdomain.com", here is example setting for you:

Configure the email according to the above examples and send a test email to make sure it works.
For the "Failed to send email" issue, please try the below solution:
1. If you use gmail, please change "smtp.gmail.com" to "74.125.127.109"
2. Then send a test email to see if it works.
If you don't use gmail, please lookup the ip address of your email smtp server:
Eg, for yahoo mail, go to http://network-tools.com
enter smtp.mail.yahoo.com to lookup the ip address, then you will see ip address is 98.136.185.95
